Origin and Evolution of Earth: Principles of Historical Geology
Published in Hardcover by Prentice Hall (20 January, 1998)
Authors: Kent C. Condie and Robert Sloan
Average review score:

Excellent review of historical geolgy
As a practicing professional now 25yrs out of school I read this as a quick review of historical geology. Excellent organization with a highly accessible style. I especially appreciated the sections on the historical development of the North American Craton. As always, Condie's writings on plate tectonics and crustal evolution are authoritative.

Painted Comanche Tree
This is only one of Kent Conwell's books that I have read. There are many others that I have read. And I give them all a 5. He leaves you laughing and smiling throughout the day when you read one of his books. I really enjoyed the one about the wagon train and all the women going out west. I laughed, I cried. I love his books. He puts so much emotion into his books. If no one has ever read a Kent Conwell book, they are missing a golden opportunity. He is a great storyteller.

Photographic Atlas For The Anatomy And Physiology Lab
Published in Ring-bound by Morton Publishing Company (January, 1999)
Author: Kent Van De Graaff
Average review score:

A Comprehensible Assortment of Photographs
_Photographic Atlas for the Anatomy and Physiology Lab_ is a fantastic lab supplement. This book is composed of clear pictures with helpful labeling. The majority of the pictures are of human dissections, with appendices of cat, rat, and fetal pig dissections. In terms of photographs, this book is wonderful! Very little is included in the way of text, but I still enthusiastically recommend this book for anyone interested in Human Anatomy.

A MUST FOR THE BIOLOGY CLASSROOM!!!
In my over 20 years of teaching HS Biology, I have never come across a more useful and complete reference. The illustrations are excellent and the use of labeled photographs is just the thing to verify classroom and laboratory observations. This book will be an extremely useful and used book to any biologist, biology teacher and biology student.
